Wet and Wild! Painting with Panache

July 29-30 Workshop, 9-4 pm

Are you ready to get bold and loose with your art?  Awaken your creative spirit at Shirley’s exciting new workshop. Learn new techniques with acrylics and/or watercolour including hardware store materials, collage with metal and glue embellishments, skins and much more.

By layering, gelling, texturizing, stamping and pasting you will create stunning abstractions that will amaze you. Shirley will include easy ways to convert these into luscious representational works. She will simplify the confusing array of acrylic mediums and grounds. Composition and design will be emphasized. There will be plenty of helpful demonstrations and personalized coaching.

Workshops are suitable for beginner to advanced artists.

Workshops are limited to 8 participants.

Fee is $200.00 for the two-day workshop. It includes primary paint colours and other selected supplies.

How to register: Early registration will secure your spot. By e-money transfer or by cheque: mail $200.00 to Shirley Mancino at 68 Rebecca Lane, Westport ON K0G 1X0.

NB: If you need to cancel, there is no charge if you notify us a minimum of 21 days in advance of the start date. After that date, there will be no refund.

Location: Workshops take place in Shirley’s stunning lakeside studio in Westport. Enjoy the wonderful scenery, shopping, and hiking – a truly breathtaking destination. B & B’s are a short walk away. Can’t afford a traditional B and B…..Shirley can help with a more reasonable alternate. Just ask.

On request, Shirley conducts workshops and demonstrations for art groups at your preferred location.
